Executive Team Leadership Development

Build a more connected, courageous, and collaborative team - drive organisational change for the success of your business.

Executive Team Leadership Development

Length and location

Team sessions take place either online or face-to-face as a paired walk and talk in the South Downs National Park, East Sussex.  If delivered virtually, the sessions are usually for one-hour, while walk and talk sessions can last two-hours.

Confidentiality

Throughout the experience, I encourage you to enlist the support of your HR business partner, if appropriate. One exception is in extreme circumstances where a person has threatened themselves, others and/or the company they work for. Even then, communication is with the person’s full knowledge and agreement.

Trust

At no point in the relationship do I have a conversation with anyone other than you, my client. I have a reputation for practising absolute confidentiality and for being someone people can trust and be open with. I value this reputation highly.

Open up opportunities for growth - together

Partnering with senior leaders and their teams is what I love. Building a relationship with the senior leader, supporting them and their team on what it means to be a 'high performing leadership team', what being a leader amongst leaders means, and, in particular, what it means to be a leadership team above and beyond each person's particular area of responsibility - that’s what brings me joy.

In this way, they grow, learn, and collaborate when they need to (not just when they’re together!); they’ll know when to cooperate or coordinate, based on having developed a greater understanding of each other. Ultimately, they’ll have deeper trust and a commitment to each others' success and the wider team and company.

Co-creating a collaborative team

I partner with Chief Executives, Presidents and Vice Presidents, Senior Leaders and their teams, helping them develop their individual, team and collective leadership strengths. The partnership will begin with me listening and questioning to understand your context and ambition - not only for our work together, but also for your business.

  • Create your shared purpose and vision.

  • Understand what you truly care about as a team.

  • Appreciate your strengths and differences.

  • Discover your values and beliefs.

  • Hold open and honest conversations.

  • Build your team's confidence and capabilities.

Executive Team Leadership Development can include the power of paired Walk and Talks, outside in nature, in parks, and in city centres.

“Anni has been working with my senior leadership team over the last nine months as we have built a new team, grown our collective leadership, and matured our shared vision and priorities. Her sensitive, inquisitive, but also very dynamic, approach has really helped the team to grow our relationships and trust, and the group coaching is always a priority for us all. I am very grateful to have found a coach that aligns so well to our core values of openness, honesty, integrity, and kindness.”

My Approach to Team Development

Who will benefit

This partnership and mentoring is suitable for all teams who want to grow and foster a safe environment of collaboration, connection, and care. After three sessions, we review our progress together. The space between sessions gives you time to reflect and to practise new behaviours, individually, and together.

What to expect

We’ll start with an initial call and agree on how we are going to work together. The first session then builds on this conversation by going more deeply into the aims and objectives for the Team Development. I’ll ask questions like 'What’s your ambition for the team, for the wider organisation, and for the future of the business?' to better understand your context and intentions.

How it works

At the end of this first session, you’ll have a clear path forward of what you are going to work on and practise, with a time-frame for sessions. I’ll also encourage you to ask for support with your objectives and to seek feedback wherever possible on your progress.

The Walk and Talk

In all my work, I see first-hand how side-by-side conversations can facilitate a significant shift in perspective, to think deeply and move calmly through things. I’m a huge fan of the walk and talk, be that taking a moment to stroll round the block or striding over the countryside.

In my work, I create environments in which people feel safe to have the conversations that matter to them. An intentional side-by-side walk can help free up the body, mind and spirit, enabling people to move through seemingly insurmountable challenges and lean into more courageous conversations.
