Wider Organisational LeadershiP Development

Open up conversations on a much larger scale, creating a lasting wave of change throughout your entire organisation.

WIDER ORGANISATIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Length and location

Wider organisational sessions take place either online or face-to-face in large settings such as conference centres and event locations.  If delivered virtually, the sessions are usually for one-hour, while in-person sessions can last from two-hours up to a full day, depending on what’s required.

Confidentiality

Throughout the experience, I encourage you to enlist the support of your HR business partner, if appropriate. One exception is in extreme circumstances where a person has threatened themselves, others and/or the company they work for. Even then, communication is with the person’s full knowledge and agreement.

Trust

At no point in the relationship do I have a conversation with anyone other than you, my client. I have a reputation for practising absolute confidentiality and for being someone people can trust and be open with. I value this reputation highly.

My Approach to Wider Organisational Leadership Development

Who will benefit

This partnership and mentoring is suitable for all organisations who want to grow and foster a safe environment of collaboration, connection, and care. After three sessions, we review our progress together. The space between sessions gives you time to reflect and to practise new behaviours, individually, and together.

What to expect

We’ll start with an initial call and agree on how we are going to work together. The first session then builds on this conversation by going more deeply into the aims and objectives for Organisational Development. I’ll ask questions like 'What do you wish to gain for the wider organisation, and for the future of the business?' to better understand your context and ambition.

How it works

At the end of this first session, you’ll have a clear path forward of what you are going to work on and practise, with a time-frame for sessions. I’ll also encourage you to ask for support with your objectives and to seek feedback wherever possible on your progress.

“I am writing this appreciation review for Anni with utmost enthusiasm, having experienced several leadership sessions facilitated by her across various staff groups within our organisation.

What sets Anni apart is not just her knowledge, but the dynamic and engaging way she imparts it. Her energy is infectious, making her adept at connecting with groups of any size. Remarkably, she does so with humility, kindness, and genuine care. Anni is not just a leader herself; she is an expert in developing others. Her commitment to cultivating leadership skills in individuals is truly commendable.

If you are seeking a guide who combines expertise with genuine care for your leadership journey, Anni Townend is an exceptional choice.”

The Walk and Talk

In all my work, I see first-hand how side-by-side conversations can facilitate a significant shift in perspective, to think deeply and move calmly through things. I’m a huge fan of the walk and talk, be that taking a moment to stroll round the block or striding over the countryside.

In my work, I create environments in which people feel safe to have the conversations that matter to them. An intentional side-by-side walk can help free up the body, mind and spirit, enabling people to move through seemingly insurmountable challenges and lean into more courageous conversations.
